Christmas evening with his Santa hat (& bib, & pajamas) and Hokey-pokey Elmo - which he absolutely LOVES. Elmo will be sitting silent and motionless across the room and Nolan will look at him and smile and laugh as though he just noticed that he was there. As far as the things that Nolan finds most interesting in the house, I think that Elmo definitely ranks up there with the cats.

And...straight to the mouth.

Tearing away...

He was playing with the wrapping paper when we took this picture. He had no problem tearing into the paper once I got it started for him. Notice we switched his bib from the nasty, banana stained yellow one to the more festive Santa one.

My beautiful drooling baby boy.

We got a smile on camera!!!

More with the train. His favorate thing to do with it is wreck it, dump the animals out, and bring the entire train to his mouth. He could live without the animals, it's the train, which is apparently particularly tasty, that he can't be separated from.

This train was definitely the hit of the morning.

All of the toys that Santa brought. He did show a little bit of excitement when we sat him down in front of everything on Christmas morning. He smiled alot, laughed a little bit, and immediately began playing with the train. I didn't expect him to pay attention to any of it.
Nolan opening his present from his Grandma and Papa. Note the excessive amount of drool on his shirt (due to teething, and bad parents who didn't have a bib there to catch all of the extra saliva) and the mismatched feet - one sock on, one sock off. He tends to pull his socks off, because they're apparently sooo much fun to play with, and I later find random socks all over the house.
