Robert giving Nolan some water from a bottle. We left his sippy cup at the hotel and it was so hot that I wanted to make sure that he was well hydrated. We also both forgot our sunglasses and Nolan's sunscreen (we found a drug store and bought some sunscreen - turning around and walking back to the hotel under the hot sun was not an option).
Robert and Nolan looking at the seals at the zoo in Central Park. The zoo was not a great one, but it only cost $6 a person (Nolan was free) to get in (as compared the $25+ that it costs to get into the Cincinnati Zoo) and it had a GREAT polar bear exhibit.
Look at how large that polar bear is!!! He repeated the same path in the water which would bring him right against the glass every minute or so. This was the one animal that Nolan actually responded to. He'd laugh every time the bear came toward the glass.

Robert and Nolan relaxing on the bed at the hotel.
The view from our hotel room. All of the green space behind the buildings is Central Park.
Nolan hanging out in his swim diaper ready to go swimming.
Nolan, Goofy, and I at the big Disney store.
The next few pictures are of Nolan jumping and rolling around on the bed. This was our nightly routine. He'd bounce on the bed, crashing into the pillows, and into me until he had finally worn himself out. Then he'd lay really still on his tummy and fall to sleep. Him sleeping in the bed with us is what I miss most about our trip. I loved waking up to him tapping me on the arm, smiling, and saying "Da. Da. Da."
