Halloween

Showing the camera his Tootsie Pops.
Getting more candy from Mammaw. He had already filled his bucket about halfway by trick-or-treating at all of the neighbor's houses, but apparently halfway wasn't enough. He emptied our candy bowl two times. We kept having to pull it out of his bucket to give to the other trick-or-treaters.
Here, his Mammaw is handing him candy to put into the bags of approaching trick-or-treaters. He loved doing this (unless one of the trick-or-treaters was particularly scary, in which case, he would push his body as close against her as possible).
Chasing Blackberry, the neighbor's cat.
Nolan posing for a picture with the other trick-or-treaters on the street.
On his way to the first house of the night. Carrying away his first piece of candy, thinking, 'this trick-or-treating thing is awesome!'
At the first house.
Approaching the door, not knowing what to expect.
Before he left our yard and began his trick-or-treating trip, he was convinced that his pumpkin bucket (which was my pumpkin bucket when I was a child) was a ball. He kept throwing it (with a loud "uhh") into the grass.
Daddy walking him out, Pappaw watching.
What a cutel bumblebee!
Pappaw trying to straighten his antennas.
Post pumpkin carving excitement
I expected him to dig into the pumpkin guts and need a bath when all was said and done. Instead, he gently touched it with his index finger, tried to eat a seed or two and left it sitting there in front of him, completely uninterested.
Looking at his little pumpkin, which he thought was a ball and ended up being thrown on the ground numerous times before I finally decided that it would stay where he had thrown it.
